HCCI in 2018 and beyond
On the 11 January, 2018 Home and Community Care Ireland (HCCI) held a presentation to outline our Mission, Vision and Values and to highlight our priorities for 2018 and beyond.
Our priorities are Marketing and PR, Lobbying, Membership and Structure of HCCI.
Marketing
Members heard about our new website launch, scheduled for March, and heard about our new logo, social media engagement plan, newsletter and proposed PR support.
Lobbying
The Board of HCCI will continue to press for statutory recognition, a level playing field, improved status for care workers and will seek meetings with government ministers and continue to represent the Organisation at HSE forum meetings, and in liaising with the NCCN
Membership Support
We will aim to continue growing the membership and to explore additional levels of membership. We will provide a new members pack with online access to all forms along with advantages of membership and offers.
Structure
Under Structure of HCCI, some constitutional changes were voted in, and meeting dates agreed for the year.
As well as outlining HCCI activities for the coming months the meeting was an opportunity for all members to mingle and chat after the initial presentation with a reception and meal. This was the first “Social “ HCCI has hosted and based on the feedback it was a welcome event.
HCCI hopes to make this gathering an annual event for all members.
